Yes, I’m old school. I have good manners, I show others respect and I will always help those who need me. It’s not because I’m old fashioned, it’s because I was raised properly.

A woman who doesn't know her worth will settle for less than she deserves and finds herself trapped in a mess that's even harder to get out of. Women without boundaries will soon be women without respect. You set the standard of how you should be treated. It's not cockiness or pride, it's value. Just because someone desires you doesn't mean they value you. No matter how good they look or exciting they seem, you are so worth more than someone playing games. It's better to be single and wait for what you deserve than lower your standards and settle for less than Gods best for you.

True friends are always there for you. Fake friends only appear when they need something from you. Time passes and you begin to see people for who they really are and not who they pretend to be. Respect people who find time for you in their busy schedule. But love people who never look at their schedule when you need them. Life is much too short to waste time on people who don’t really care for us deep down. When someone shows you who they really are, believe them the first time.

A real gentleman will never raise his voice so loud or hit you in any way whenever he's mad. Guys who are violent have self-control issues and you don't want to get stuck with a man who's abusive and doesn't respect your womanhood.

Always be yourself. Never try to hide who you are. The only shame is to have shame. Always stand up for what you believe in. Always question what other people tell you. Never regret the past, it’s a waste of time. There’s a reason for everything. Every mistake, every moment of weakness, every terrible thing that has happened to you. Grow from it. The only way you can ever get the respect of others is when you show them that you respect yourself and most importantly, do your thing and never apologize for being you.

At least respect me enough to tell me what's up. If you don't want to talk to me, just tell me. If I'm getting on your nerves, just let me know. If you're losing feelings, don't keep me waiting just to lead me on or play me. I at least deserve to know. So instead of keeping things to yourself, just be straight up and honest with me so I don't have to sit around looking stupid.

Don't be too hard on yourself. There are plenty of people willing to do that for you. Do your best and surrender the rest. Tell yourself, "I am doing the best I can with what I have in this moment. That is all I can ever expect of anyone, including me." Love yourself and be proud of everything you do, even your mistakes, because your mistakes mean you're trying.

If you feel like others are not treating you with love and respect, check your price tag. Perhaps you subconsciously marked yourself down. Because it's YOU who tells others what you're worth by showing them what you are willing to accept for your time and attention. So get off the clearance rack. If you don't value and respect yourself, wholeheartedly, no one else will either.
