Giving without expectation leads to receiving without limitation.



How many times have you heard others say, or more likely heard yourself say, "I'm tired of giving. All I do is give to others and I get nothing in return." Well, the purpose of giving of ourselves, essentially sharing our gifts and talents with others is to open the door for them to do the same. However, when we give with strings attached, this closes the door. If you are bitter because your giving is not met with reciprocal giving, then you may wish to take a closer look at yourself rather than the recipient of your gifts. Because, it is my observation that giving without expectation leads to receiving without limitation. — Charles F. Glassman
